Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (954) 251-1747. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, achoiceautocare.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 159 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Hollywood and suggests consistent service.

Hollywood is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Hollywood is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn’t be happier with my experience here! From the moment I brought my car in, the customer service was absolutely amazing. It’s honestly refreshing to find an auto mechanic who is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also genuinely **honest and trustworthy**. They took the time to explain everything clearly and were upfront about what my car actually needed. The quality of the work was outstanding; they even washed my car! You can tell they take pride in their work and truly care about their customers. Finding a mechanic you can trust is not always easy, but I can confidently say I’ve found mine. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for **honest service, fair treatment, and excellent workmanship**. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back here for any future maintenance or repairs!

Been using the services of Danny and his family for years. I dont go there for better prices or deals. I go there for trust. If something is recommended or a critical repair is advised I can rest easy in knowing it has to be done and not some upsell. I don't hesitate to say yes when a repair is recommended. In an industry where dishonest work or poor work is rampant having A Choice Auto is a breath of fresh air. I recommend them highly to anyone. The trust and reliability pays itself off in its weight in gold more so than cheap work.

First class service from Danny and his family! He found a way to help me afford an expensive but much needed rebuilt engine for my Camry XSE along with other much needed items to get my car back on the road like new. I highly recommend going to A Choice for any of your car repairs. Be sure to ask for DANNY and tell him Hobbs sent you!! ✅️

I have been search for a reliable and dependable mechanic shop for a long time and I FINALLY found one A Choice Auto. The service is A+ and customer service is amazing. Eddie treated me with complete professionalism from the moment we spoke on the phone to the moment I brought my car into the shop. What will make me a lifetime customer is the transparency of the breakdown of services and pictures to show what is wrong and what needs to be done. It takes a lot to impress me and I am impressed!
